Little Coyote

Larry is excited to be making his debut on the blog and is considering a career as a nature photographer. He saw this little coyote while out on the road one day, and he didn't seem scared at all. He actually seemed eager for contact, as it appears that his mother must have recently decided he was old enough to fend for himself. Larry felt a little sorry for him, because he was catching grasshoppers to eat.

Hunter Convention

We so enjoyed a few days away at our annual church convention. Here's Jonathan with a couple of little friends. Why is it that little girls just automatically know what to do in front of a camera? Jonathan looked kind of dorky in all the pictures I took!

What's up with this hand on my shoulder thing?

The kids who will be graduating this year, minus a couple we couldn't get rounded up.

Ending with a laugh...Jonathan made fast friends with Jeff Krack after Jeff helped him find Victor one night. And the sunglasses??? I don't have any explanation for that!

Jumping on the Trampoline While Taking a Break While Talking on the Phone

This is the way Katie takes a break from doing homework while talking on the phone to Esau in Guatemala. She's also entertaining her little brother quite well--now that's multi-tasking!

All tired out

It's Volleyball Season!

Here are a few fun shots of the girls at their Adams-Edmore game. The team is having a great season so far, and the games are extra-special just knowing it's Amy's last year!

Kenzie, Brittney, Jill, Courtney, Tory and Amy

Going for a serious look...

but it didn't last long!

First Day of Pre-School

Here's Jonathan on his first day of pre-school. It has been his dream to get to go to school for at least 2 years, and he is so excited! He absolutely loves it, and most of all, he loves his teacher, Mrs. Heisler. I think he almost worships her.

Victor could hardly wait for us to get back from Missoula, so he could take Jonathan to school on his pegs!

The mug shot...and what a mug!

Both Mommy and Daddy had to pick him up the first day!

Memories of Missoula

Here's my little water bug playing in the river that runs through Missoula

And then there's the carousel in Cara's Park - Missoula is such a great place!

I tried SO hard to get the gold ring!

Ice cream cones

Jonathan was determined he was going to have the sample cone. We could hardly pry it out of his hands. Try explaining to a 3 yr. old that those cones are only for display, and they'll give you a different one just like it. When all was said and done, I think he ended up eating my sugar cone, anyway!

We had a meal in a fancy restaurant that had these really cool old telephone booths. I thought it made a great picture spot!

I had a fellow classmate from Austria take this picture. I think he might be famous someday, and then this picture will be worth a lot of money.
